Why Verse 1. THE OAK ? - Heather Text
Verse 1 - The Oak is a mid scale installation of a planting of a 10 metre Oak Tree in Mayow Park, South East London in early November.
There will be with a spoken word poetry performance and with atmospheric lighting and sound-scaping to amplify the storytelling of the relationship the local community have with the nature they cohabit with in the borough of Lewisham.
It will a dynamic and reflective 45 mins of performance plus 45 minutes of lowering the tree to experience the care and complexities of the work local council tree services do unnoticed.
